Introduction
Visual & Layout – A Portfolio's Redefined
This is an immersive portfolio website for photographers, designed in Figma and developed in Framer. The goal was to move beyond traditional grids to create a website for pure visual storytelling, using bold layouts to showcase imagery without distractions.
Great photography does more than show you a scene, it let's you feel a moment. This portfolio designed to immerse you in that feeling, moving beyond a simple grid to turn a collection of images into a true visual narrative
Challenges
The main challenge was balancing immersive, high-quality images with fast performance. The design also needed to be bold yet intuitive, with a minimal UI that allowed the photography itself to be the main focus of the experience.
Solutions
To keep the focus on the photography, the solution features a minimal UI and a clear content hierarchy. Smooth, subtle animations make the experience feel fluid and engaging.
Built dynamic layouts with smooth, subtle animations.
Organized content with clear hierarchy in every layout.
Designed a minimal UI that fades to keep focus on photos.
Added interactive touches that make browsing feel engaging.
Process
My process started with user Research to define the core challenges and goals. I then moved into the UI Design phase to craft the visual experience. The polished design was brought to life through Framer Development and validated in a final Testing phase.
Outcomes
The final outcome is a fully functional and responsive website, designed in the Figma and developed in Framer. The polished user experience successfully met all initial project goals and delivered on the core creative vision.
Design Iteration Time
Framer's component-based workflow allows for faster updates and design changes.
User Journey Efficiency
A design focused on reducing friction, users can find information and navigate smoothly.
